Cellist by John Ruhl for the J.B. Hirsch Foundry circa 1932. Bronze finish metal figure with celluloid head, on a Portoro marble base. John Ruhl, Sculptor. Inscribed 1932, JBH, J.Ruhl. (Sculptor). Measures 6-3/4” high x 3-1/4” wide x 6-1/4” deep.  Weighs 7 lbs. the pair. Original felt on bottoms.  Bows have been replaced but other than this they are in outstanding condition. A gorgeous pair of old original mint condition bookends.
