Breakfront Secretary Flame Mahogany

We’re offering a beautiful flame mahogany with line inlay C.1930’s breakfront secretary which has bubble glass in all of the top cabinet doors creating extra depth to the piece. This wonderful breakfront secretary was made by an American Quality Company called Saginaw Furniture Company in the 1930’s. There is ample storage with three top sections all having three adjustable shelves. There are two lower side cabinets with one drawer above each side cabinet. In the middle of the bottom section is the fold out secretary which has burgundy leather with gold tooling on the edges. In the secretary portion there are also two drawers and eight pigeon holes. Beneath the secretary are three large drawers. All the drawers have ornate brass loop handles. The top cabinets, side cabinets and desk all lock with the same key. The top of the breakfront is finished off with dart and egg molding and an ornate pediment sits on top of this. The condition is perfect and measurements are as follows. Height 80″ with Pediment 88″ x 58″ width x 16.5″ depth. The pediment can be removed if the height is a problem and the breakfront is in two sections
